Good Morning! My respected Sir,  I pray this finds you under the shade of Allah's mercy and protection. As my mentor in spirit ❤️, I have been reflecting on the nature of expression lately, and a question arose that I felt you could help me navigate:  Who is a true poet? And what is the essence of poetry? ( in your context). I often find that when we read verses without personal experience or reflection, they feel like a hollow echo of imagination. Yet, when li?fe aligns with those words, they begin to murmur depths that lead to unfathomable philosophy. They carry emotions so delicate that they can make the reader weep or smile at once. Does it depend upon the reader on how he perceives, or the writer on how he delivers? I would be deeply honoured to listen to your thoughts on this when time permits 😊. ANSWER= (A) Dogs eat
Explanation: Dogs eat meat. (Simple Present)

2. کیا کتے گوشت نہیں کھاتے؟

Explanation: Do dogs not eat meat?  

3. گائے دودھ دیتی ہے۔

ANSWER= (B) The cow gives
Explanation: The cow gives milk. 

5. The cow ____ milk. 


ANSWER= (C) does not give
Explanation: The cow does not give milk.

6. He ___ to go to London.

ANSWER= (A) wants
Explanation: He wants to go to London.

7. وہ لندن نہیں جانا چاہتا۔


ANSWER= (B) He does not want to 
Explanation: He does not want to go to London. (Present Indefinite Tense)

8. The horse ____ grass now.  

ANSWER= (B) is eating
Explanation: The horse is eating grass now. 
(Present Continous Tense)

9. The horse ____ grass now. 




ANSWER= (A) is not eating

ANSWER= (B)  ringing
Explanation: Is he ringing the bell now? (Present Continuous Tense)

11. اس وقت آسمان پر ستارے چمک رہے ہیں۔   



ANSWER= (B) The stars are shining in the sky at present.
Explanation: The stars are shining in the sky at present. (Present continuous Tense)

12. وہ پہلے ہی ایک گانا گا چکی ہے۔





ANSWER= (C) She has already sung a song.
Explanation: She has already sung a song. (Present Perfect Tense)


Translate into English

13. اس نے مجھے پیسے دیے ہیں۔ 


ANSWER= (B) He has given me money.
Explanation: He has given me money. (Present Perfect)

14. وہ اپنا فرض ادا کر رہا ہے۔




ANSWER= (A) He is doing 
Explanation: He is doing his duty.

15. وہ اپنے بال سنوار رہی ہے۔




ANSWER= (B) She is dressing 
Explanation: She is dressing her hair.

16. اس نے دروازہ اندر سے بند کر دیا ہے۔





ANSWER= (D) He has locked 
Explanation: He has locked the door inside. 

17. میرے والدین حج پر گئے ہوئے ہیں۔ 


ANSWER= (D) My parents have gone 
Explanation: My parents have gone for the Hajj.

18. آپ کے دوستوں نے مجھ سے جھوٹ بولا ہے۔ 



ANSWER= (B) Your friends have told 
Explanation: Your friends have told me a lie to me.

19. اسے صحت بخش کھانا کھانا چاہیے۔ 





ANSWER= (A) She should eat wholesome food.
Explanation: She should eat wholesome food.

20.وہ بچے کو پال رہی تھی۔



    nursing the child.

ANSWER= (D) was nursing 
Explanation: She was nursing the child.

21. میرے دوست نے پچھلے ہفتے ایک کار خریدی۔

    has bought last week.
    bought a car last week.
    will buy a car next week.

ANSWER= (B) My friend bought
Explanation: My friend bought a car last week.

22. صبح سے بارش ہو رہی تھی۔ 


    will be raining in the morning.

ANSWER= (B) It had been raining 
Explanation: It had been raining since morning.

23. محنت کبھی رائیگاں نہیں جاتی۔

    Hard work never went waste.
    Hard work never will go waste.
    Hard work never goes waste.

ANSWER= (C) Hard work never goes waste.
Explanation: Hard work never goes waste. 

24. وہ مرتے دم تک لڑیں گے۔


    They will fight till they die.
    They will be fighting until they die.

ANSWER= (B) They will fight till they die.
Explanation: They will fight until they die.  

25. جب وہ واپس آئے گا تو میں اس کا استقبال کروں گا۔ 

    I receive him when he comes back.
    I shall receive him when he comes back.
    I shall have received him when he comes back.

ANSWER= (B)  I shall receive him when he comes. When he comes, I shall receive him.
Explanation: I shall receive him when he comes back. First Conditional 

26. دو اور دو سے ہمیشہ چار بنتے ہیں۔

    Two and two makes four always.
    Two and two will make four always.
    Two and two make four always.

ANSWER= (C) Two and two make four always.
Explanation: Two and two make four always. 'Two and two' is a plural noun and takes a plural verb, 'Make'.

27. وہ بھاگا کہیں ٹرین چھوٹ نہ جائے۔

    He ran lest he could miss the train.
    He ran lest he would miss the train.
    He ran lest he should miss the train.

ANSWER= (C) He ran lest he should miss the train.
Explanation: He ran lest he should miss the train. 

28.  اس نے ابھی تک اپنی فیس ادا نہیں کی۔ 


ANSWER= (B) He has not paid his fee yet.
Explanation: He has not paid his fee yet.

29. استاد نے طلبہ کو ایک امتحان دیا ہے۔ 

    The teacher had given the students a test.
    The teacher gives the students a test.
    The teacher has given the students a test.

ANSWER= (C) The teacher has given the students a test.
Explanation: The teacher has given the students a test.

30. وہ اجلاس میں ایک مسئلہ اٹھائے گی۔



ANSWER= (B) She will raise an issue in the meeting.
Explanation: She will raise an issue in the meeting. 'raise' is a transitive verb. it needs an object.
