Is Solitude where you meet yourself?

Image
Asslam o Alaikum,  My honourable Sir,  As scholars advise, " Solitude is where you meet yourself"  But whenever I sit to reflect on my own presence, rather than meeting myself, I feel I lose myself. Everything around me including myself becomes question mark and 'I' itself feels strange. I feel void.  Sir, what's that...? Am I missing something in what scholars meant or is this beyond my understanding?  I believe your understanding more than my confusion 😊 Reply to the question: Wa Alaikum Assalam What you’re describing actually makes a lot of mixed sense—and it’s more common (and more meaningful) than it feels in the moment. When scholars say “Solitude is where you meet yourself,” they’re not talking about an immediate, peaceful, clear “meeting.” That line is often quoted in the spirit of thinkers like Rumi or Al-Ghazali—but the first stage of solitude is usually not clarity. it shows confusion. What makes intelligent people intelligent The most striking quality of intelligent people is that THEY ACCEPT THEIR FAULTS immediately and always try to improve themselves. They have a learning attitude that makes them move on and on in life. They never stop or lose their spirits. They welcome new challenges and hope to get through these challenges. Now, look at the reasons for this acceptance. Who can accept his fault? The person who knows better about the correction in order to learn more and more. This correction is an asset to his intellect. Four  Apparently, the person who knows addition can answer it as Four, and the wrong answer is Five. Now, one who accepts his mistake quickly learns and becomes equal to the intelligent person. Got it? Let's have another example: Q. Does water keep its level?  Ans. Yes. Apparently, the person who has a scientific approa...

We cannot help escaping this routine, but, surely, we can get the conquest of happiness by following some of the unique principles, which are as follows: Good Sleep Those who keep themselves busy all the time just to fulfil their desires with the help of wealth, always remain stressed and worried. They earn money 💰 at the cost of their health. They don't even get enough sleep to fulfil the basic need of their physic.  Good and Healthy diet Most people consider those meals that are roasted and spicy healthy and sumptuous food. They eat salted and oily foods that taste nice to their 😛 tongues. Simple and low-fat foods are out of the question for their meals. Restaurants and hotels are full of these heavy metals, which are injurious to their health, and always make their stomachs face a testing laboratory. They also help lose their sleep. Keep Themselves Active Those who keep the...
